SEQ Pool Safety Inspections offers old fashioned reliability and professionalism encompassing a fuss free easy process to attain your Pool Safety Certificate. Our licensed Pool Safety Inspectors have expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the Pool Safety Laws and Regulations, and will guide you to compliance and attainment of your valid Pool Safety Certificate.
Easy Process to attain your Pool Safety Certificate:
- Contact us to arrange your inspection time and date. Your pool’s status is checked with the Pool Safety Register. Please note: full payment is required prior to inspection or at inspection.
- (Optional) Pre-Inspection without obligation of a 90-day deadline to complete corrective works
Or
Inspection: Our licensed Pool Safety Inspector reports to you regardless of compliant or non-compliant outcome.
- When your pool is deemed: “Compliant”, your Pool Safety Certificate is issued by email within two business days. A follow up hard copy is sent via post. We enter your pool onto the Pool Safety Register as Compliant.
Or
“Non-Compliant”, you have 90 days to undergo corrective works. Notations of non-compliance will be made in the Pool Safety Register along with the date for re-inspection and the inspector’s name. Arrangements will be made for re-inspection on or within 90 days when non-compliances should have been rectified. Fees apply for re-inspections.
- Re-inspection: Shared pools are re-inspected annually. However, non-share Pool Safety Certificates are valid for two years. When selling or leasing, a valid Pool Safety Certificate is mandatory for both shared and non-shared. SEQ Pool Safety Inspections provide the additional service of a friendly reminder when your re-inspection is due.
Getting it right first time:
Ideally, your pool fencing complies with the Pool Safety Standards at our first inspection. We encourage you to use our handy Pool and Spa Compliance Check List to identify any likely non-compliances which can be rectified before the official inspection. Please note this check list does not negate the necessity for a professional pool safety inspection to achieve your mandatory valid Pool Safety Certificate.
As an alternative or additional service, at the same price as a first inspection, you may prefer an optional “pre-inspection” consultation which will alert the pool owner of any likely noncompliance without any obligations. This gives owners more time to complete works to achieve compliance without notations on the Pool Safety Register and the consequential 90-day deadline to complete corrective works to meet compliance.
